近指（指时间或空间上较近的人或事物） this 指代可数名词单数 This is Jenny.
这是珍妮。
these 指代可数名词复数 These are my books.
这些是我的书。
远指（指时间或空间上较远的人或事物） that 指代可数名词单数 That is my father.
那是我的爸爸。
those 指代可数名词复数 Those are cars.
那些是汽车。
1.指示代词
（1）指示代词this、that作主语时，be动词和后面的名词均用单数形式；指示代词these、those作主语时，be动词和后面的名词均用复数形式。
This is a map and those are books.
这是一幅地图，那些是书。
（2）句型转换单变复：① this变these，that变those；② be动词is变成are；
③ 可数名词单数变为复数；④ 不定冠词a/an要去掉。
（3）回答主语是 this 或 that 的疑问句时，在答语中常用 it 来代替问句中的 this 或 that ; 回答主语是 these 或 those 的问句时，在答语中常用 they 来代替问句中的 these 或 those。

who是疑问代词，意为“谁”，常用在句首引导特殊疑问句，对人进行提问。结构为：Who+be动词+主语
主语是单数时，be动词用is；主语是复数时，be动词用are。

—They’re Mary and Lucy. 她们是玛丽和露西。
