Chinese New Year is one of the biggest festivals in China.

We call it the Spring Festival.

It is in late January or early February.

The holiday is just one week, but there is so much to do!

At the Spring Festival, people always v isit their family and have big meals .

There are many kinds of lucky food: dumplings, rice cakes, spring rolls and yuanxiao. They are so good!

Kids can wea r new clothes.

They can eat lots of candies.
他们可以吃很多糖果。
They can watch the Lion and Dragon Dance in the street.

They can play with colourful fireworks.
他们可以玩五彩缤纷的烟花。
They can get lucky money from their grandparents and parents .
