Step 1 Leading In
Warming up “ Up and Down”
Ss watch a video about the animal friend -panda, the panda told the children that there was a sports meeting in the forest .
T shows the pictures of animals, Ss say the animal names.
Each animal stands for a task , If Ss finish one task, they can get some sports medals .
Finish Task 1 (Tree climbing) , Ss review the words of sports .
Step 2 Presentation
Finish Task 2
Read the story freely , then answer the questions .
(1)When did the sports meeting have
(2)Who won the 1000-meter race
(3)Did the bear won the throwing match
(4)What was the third sport
2. Finish Task 3
(1) Watch the videos and try to understand the meaning of the story.
