Step 1: Warming up.
1. Greetings:
T: Good morning, boys and girls.
Step 2: Presentation
1. Lead in:
T: 我们在上学期认识了很 ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )多的小朋友，他们叫什么名字？你们还记得吗？（生说人名，师出示图片。）今天我们还要认识三个新朋友，他们是谁？Look. （ 画出Alice, John and Miss Williams的图像并板书、带读。）
2. Ask SS to greet to them.
SS: Hello. / Good morning, （Alice）
3. Role-play: 2 Ss act as Alice and John. T acts as Miss Williams.
T: I’m Miss Williams. What’s your name
S: I’m Alice/ John. （To a few Ss）

4. Drill: Role-play between 3 Ss.
5. Teach the sentence: I’m fine. / I’m OK. / I’ m not very well.
（An interview）
T: How are you today

2. A pantomime between 2 Ss: 3 pairs.
3. Listen to the tape and try to imitate the intonations.
4. Act the dialogue out: Prepare for a few minutes.
