语法考点梳理：原因状语从句
1.引导词：原因状语从句通常由because, since, as引导，用来表示原因。
He didn’t come to school because he was ill.
As it is raining, we shall not go the zoo.
Since you can’t answer the question, I’ll ask someone else.
2.区分
①because表示直接原因，语气最强。because引导的原因状语从句多放在主句之后。回答由why提出的问题，只能用because
【注意】
▲because和so不能同用在一个句子里。
▲because与because of 的区别:
because后只能接句子，而because of 后面只能接名词或名词短语，不能跟句子。
Because of the bad weather, we put off the sports meeting.
Because it rained yesterday, we put off the sports meeting.
②as和since语气较弱，一般用来表示明显的原因。由as和since引导的原因状语从句多放在句首。
Since he had no musical instruments then,he made music with common objects like stones and paper.
As he likes the sounds of nature,Tan uses them a lot in his music.

词性 用法 例句
介词 翻译成“作为”常用于work as /be famous/known as 等短语中 French is known as the most beautiful language in the world. 法语以世界上最美的语言著称。
连词 引导时间状从句，表示“当…的时候” My mother was cooking fish as I arrived home. 当我到家的时候，我妈妈正在做鱼。
连词 引导原因状从句，表示“因为...” As rain has fallen, the air is cooler. 因为下过雨，所以空气比较凉爽。
连词 引导让步状从句，表示“虽然...” Young as he is, he has been one of the most famous painters in our country. 虽然他还很年轻，但已经成为我们国家最有名的画家之一。
