1) 句子的主语是单数时，be动词用is, 其答语为“It's+颜色.”。
2) 句子的主语是复数时，be动词用are, 其答语为“They're+颜色.”。
—What color are the cups 这些杯子是什么颜色的？
—They’re white . 它们是白色的。
Point
询问颜色：What color +be+主语（被询问的物品）
—What color is your hat 你的帽子是什么颜色的？
—It’s yellow. 它是黄色的。

1．What color is it 它是什么颜色？
对颜色提问的特殊疑问句。
该句型结构为What color+be+主语？
当主语是单数形式时，be动词用is;当主语是复数形式时，be动词用are。
答语为It’s/They’re+颜色。
2．It’s red/black.它是红色的/黑色的。
在英语中，表示某物是某种颜色时，表示颜色的词后不需要加color。
例如：这支钢笔是蓝色的。
