2.Woman: Can I help you
woman为可数名词,意为“女子”,复数形式为 women。其对应词为 man (男人),复数形式为 men。
Can I help you 是服务人员或营业员主动询问顾客需要的常用语, 类似的说法还有 “May I help you ”和 “What can I do for you ”
如果顾客需要购物时, 可回答: Yes, please. 否定回答可用: No, thanks.
3.I need a sweater for school.
need为实义动词,意为“需要”,有人称和数的变化,后面可接名词、代词、动名词及动词不定式; 可用于肯定句、疑问句和否定句中。
e.g.Tom needs to buy a new pen today.
汤姆今天需要去买一支新钢笔。
need可作情态动词,意为“需要”,无人称和数的变化,后接动词原形, 变为否定句时要在need后加上not; 变为疑问句时,要把need提到主语前。
e.g.You needn’t worry.
你不必担心。
4. OK. I’ll take it.
take为动词, 意为“买下;拿;取”,相当 get/buy/have。
e.g.I’ll take the T-shirt for my daughter.
我要为我女儿买这件T恤衫。
顾客购物时,常用I’ll take it/ them. 表示“我要买下了”。
take+人/物+to+地点, 意为“把某人/某物带到某地”
e.g.Could you take my bag to the classroom, please
你能帮我把包带到教室吗?
It takes+人+时间+to do sth.意为“某人花了多长时间做某事”
e.g.It takes me an hour to do homework every day.
我每天花费一个小时做作业。
5.Two dollars for one pair and three dollars for two pairs.
介词for 用来表示物品的价格,用法为:价格+ for +具体物品。
如果是双方都知道的物品,for后可直接跟物品的数量。
e.g. How much is it for two (买) 两个多少钱?
pair 一双;一对,相当于汉语中的量词。常构成a pair of 短语,其后的名词通常是由两个相同部分组成的物品,只用复数形式。当a/the pair of 短语在句子中作主语时,句子的谓语动词用单数形式,即与pair 的数保持一致。
e.g.The pair of shoes is very nice.
这双鞋很漂亮。
6.Here you are.
Here you are. 是英语口语中常用的句子, 意为“给你”或“你要的东西在这里”,用于别人向你要东西或借东西, 你递给他时的应答语。
当给对方的东西是单数时, Here you are. 和 Here it is. 两者均可使用;
当给对方的东西是复数时,用Here you are. 或者Here they are. (Here it is. 的复数形式) 。
