Analysis of the Teaching Material 本节课是一节听说课,首先通过图文将学生带入“谈论英语学习方法”的情景中,并在语境中输入核心句型“How do you study for a test ”及应答“I study by working with a group.”和重点词汇如:textbook,conversation,aloud,pronunciation,sentence,patient等,并在此基础上引导学生对他人的学习方法做出评价。本课是本单元的第一课时,在整个单元中起着话题导入、帮助学生热身的作用,内容贴近学生生活,课堂任务应侧重于培养学生的语言实践能力。
Analysis of the Students 学生通过七、八年级的英语学习进入九年级,已经有了一定的英语基础和英语学习能力,有了适合自己的学习方法。但是还有相当一部分学生英语学习基础薄弱,在英语学习中出现这样或那样的困难,对英语学习失去信心和兴趣,其原因就是没有掌握合适的学习方法。怎样才能成为好的学习者?对于这一话题,同学们应该是非常感兴趣。所以,教师在课堂设计时应该通过设计活动和任务,激起学生的学习兴趣,引导学生热情参与,鼓励学生参与语言实践,渗透学法指导并巩固或改善自己的学习方法,形成良好的学习习惯。

Learningability 通过关于英语学习方法的听力对话理解和谈论提高英语阅读速度方法,培养听、说能力。
Thinking quality 通过向他人探讨自己在英语学习中遇到的问题,思考他人提出的解决方式是否适合自己;
Cultural awareness 通过对提高英语阅读速度的方法的讨论,认识到中英文语言上的相似性和差异性;
TeachingPoints 1. 掌握重点单词的词义、词性、发音、固定搭配等;2. 学会使用语言目标“How do you study.. /l study by...”来谈论学习方法。
