教材分析 本课时在学习使用This is...句式介绍他人，以及使用Good morning向他人问好的基础上，学习如何使用句式：Good afternoon向他人问好，及如何使用句式：Nice to meet you来表达初次相识或被人介绍而相识时相互间的问候。教材的情景图中是Wu Binbin到Mike家里做客。Mike把Wu Binbin介绍给了自己的妈妈。然后John使用Good afternoon. Nice to meet you.来向Mike的妈妈表示问候。在这样的情境下，学生能够很好地理解这些重点句式的含义及用法，为他们正确地使用这些句式提供了很好的范例。
学情分析 学生使用小手偶进行Let’s play的角色扮演游戏，来互相介绍、问候。在这样的游戏中以对话交际的方式操练本课时学习到的有关介绍他人、向他人表示问候的句式。
