单元整体教学设计
单元主题:Good food and a healthy diet
该主题属于“人与自我”和“人与社会”,涉及“饮食与健康”和“科学技术改变生活”。
教学理论
《2022年新课标》首次使用了“大观念”一词,强调“以学科大概念为核心,使课程内容结构化,以主题为引领,使课程内容情景化”。基于真实语言运用视角,分析教材内容与学生情况,确定学习发展的内容主题,初定真实任务(鲁子问,张荣干,2005)。确定单元大任务和具体的小任务。秉持真实语言运用的语言理念,围绕主题语境,依托语篇,联结英语课堂与真实生活,设计语言、思维、文化相融合的层次性学习活动,使学生在追求达成真实任务成果的过程中学习和尝试运用语言或非语言手段理解与表达意义,实现深度学习,从而培养文化意识,发展多元思维形成学习能力。基于学生学习视角,设定以达成真实任务成果为目标的学生学习过程,以及教师对学生任务成果达成和素养学习发展的相应支持引导过程(张荣干,2017),形成主题意义引领下基于真实任务的任务前、任务中、任务后等阶段及其环节的师生活动流程。
二、单元内容分析
本单元内容围绕Good food and a healthy diet这一主题展开,涉及六个语篇包括一节对话词汇融合课、一节对话课、一节词汇课、一节阅读课、一节语音课和一节配图故事课。
语篇一是一节对话词汇融合课。教材通过Sarah一家人在家用餐的场景展开,Sarah和父母互相询问并回答自己想要吃什么,喝什么,通过学习语篇,了解中西方饮食文化的差异。
语篇二是一节对话课。教材通过教材通过张鹏和Sarah在学校餐厅讨论并介绍自己最喜欢的食物和饮料展开对话,引导学生注意养成良好的饮食习惯。
语篇三是一节词汇课。教材通过Sarah 和陈洁谈论自己最喜欢的食物展开对本节课五个单词的学习,学生描述自己喜欢食物的特征或味道,引导学生养成合理、均衡的饮食习惯。
语篇四是一节阅读课。语篇的体裁是便条。教材通过机器人Robin打算给吴斌斌和爷爷做一顿饭,于是吴斌斌和爷爷写下便条描述喜欢和不喜欢的食物,但是结果却出乎意料。通过学习语篇,让学生感受科技带来便利的同时,也学会人工智能替代不了人类,引导学生树立正确的价值观。
语篇五是一节语音课。教材通过故事作为情景导入,归纳总结字母组合ow在单词中发音的规则。
语篇六是一节配图故事课。教材描述Zip和Zoom用农场里新鲜的蔬菜做成健康美味的蔬菜沙拉,在做沙拉的过程中,Zoom和Zip相互关心,共同合作,最后做出美味健康的沙拉,学生通过理解故事内容了解健康的饮食,引导学生多吃蔬菜沙拉等健康美味的食物。
三.学情分析——知识基础、认知(心理)特点、生活经验等
五年级的学生已经学习过两年的英语,他们活泼好动、模仿能力强,能简单表达一些日常生活用语,对英语学习有着浓厚的兴趣。学生在三年级上、下册和四年级上册接触过类似的话题,其中在三年级上册Unit 5 Let’s eat中,学生掌握句型I’d like some...和Can I have some...;和事务类单词。在三年级下册Unit 5 Do you like pears 中,学生掌握句型:Do you like... Yes/No...;和水果类单词。在四年级上册unit 5 Dinner’s ready中,学生掌握句型:What would you like... I’d like...等核心句型和单词,对学习本单元起了铺垫作用

What: 本课时是A部分对话和单词的融合课。教材通过Sarah下午放学后肚子很饿,妈妈为她准备了丰富的晚餐,Sarah选择自己喜欢吃的食物,并主动关心刚下班回家的爸爸需要吃点什么和喝点什么,综合运用本课时的核心语言,然后进行拓展,对比中外饮食文化的差异。
Why: 教材情景中对话交流用到的询问并回答自己想要吃什么、喝什么的语言,培养学生与家人相互交流,互相关心的情感。
How: 本节课是一节对话和单词的融合课,将描述食品的五个单词ice cream, tea, hamburger, sandwich和salad对接对话情景,展开对话学习,在情景中运用句型What would you like to eat/drink I’d like...通过Sarah一家人用餐的情景,了解到中西方饮食也有很大的差异。
教学目标
通过学习本课时,学生能够
