教学目标

教学内容
教学重点: Improve the students’ abilities of predicting and imagining. 提高学生预测的能力和想象力。

教学过程
Leading-in 1) T:Hello,boys and girls.Nice to be here with you .I’m Julie from Xinxiang No.2 Middle School.This is my friend, Baymax. It is a robot.Today Baymax and I will take you to the world of robots. 2) T:Please watch the video.(播放视频) What’s Baymax doing He is examining the little boy. 3) T:In our daily life,what can robots do Some can talk with people/dance/do the housework. 4) T:In the future,what will robots be like What will they be able to do Will you have your own robot With these questions,let’s read the article “ Do You Think You Will Have Your Own Robot ” 设计意图:介绍贯穿本节课的人物--大白。通过利用大白的电影片段和机器人的相关图片激活学生背景知识,激发学生的兴趣,引入本节课的阅读的主题。 Pre-reading T:Predict “What can we learn from the title and the picture ” A. It’s about a science fiction movie. B. It’s about the robot scientist James White. C. It’s about the robots in the future. Reading strategy: We can predict what we will read about according to the title and the picture . 设计意图:指导学生根据标题和图片预测文章大意的能力。 While-reading Skimming T:Now read the article fast for the first time and match each paragraph with the questions.
