一、知识链接
1.right除了“对的”以外，还有右边的意思。
2.在十字路口用介词“at” at the crossing. Crossing去“ing”后变成动词“横过。”

1、听录音、跟读课文5遍。

教师出示图片问学生已学过单词：hospital, cinema, post office, bookstore ，science museum
让学生表演A Let’s talk对话。
Step 2: Presentation （呈现目标，自主学习）
1、读学习目标，检查预习情况，教师情景导入新课。
2、听力大冲关。（listen to the tape and try to remember their pronunciation.）(听录音，用红笔画出你不会读的单词或句子。)
3、跟录音读，跟老师读，尝试记住它们的发音。
Step 3: Co-operation (合作交流，群学)
1、自己先读单词。
2、小组内讨论交流难读单词或难懂句子，或组长检查。（老师抽查一、两组）
3、Learn with teacher.
(1) 老师伸出两只手介绍：“This is my left hand and this is my right hand.”请两句学生分别站在自己的两侧说：“A is on my left. B is on my right.”然后提问学生：“Where is A/B ”引导学生回答：“… is on your left/right.”教单词left和right,然后老师带学生做动作turn left或turn right。
（2）活动：听听做做
T：show me your right/left hand/leg/ear/foot.全班同学根据指令动作，边做边说：My right/left hand/leg/ear/foot.然后改由一个学生发指令，其他同学边说边做动作。W
（3）教师再黑板上用尺子画一条直线，指着直线说：This line is straight.板书：straight，带读straight。然后采用“大小声”的游戏操练单词straight。老师边走边带读go straight。
(4)出示十字路口的图片介绍：This is a crossing.板书crossing，带读crossing。然后采用“大小声”的游戏操练单词。
(5)出示句子Where is the Italian restaurant 并板书：Italian restaurant ,告诉学生词组的意思并带读。
(6)让学生齐读课文内容一次。

由小组长带领组员用各种方式学和记单词。
