一、知识链接
1. maybe是副词,意思是“也许、可能”,在句中作状语,相当于perhaps,常位于句首。
二、课前预习
1、听录音、跟读课文5遍。
2、理解课文大意。
3、写出下列句子的中文意思。
1）What’s this cartoon about
2）He chases the mice.
3）They’re afraid of him.
4）The cat is angry with them.
5）Maybe our cat is chasing a mouse now! _______________________

(1)利用生活中的图片提问学生并呈现本单元的核心句型：How does he/she feel He/ She …
(2)教师先说观点：People have different feelings.然后呈现不同表情的婴儿图片，提问学生：Look at the babies. What are they doing How do they feel Why 通过谈论图片中的婴儿表情与动作，猜测情绪，自然呈现并教授表示情绪的形容词，如：angry, afraid, happy等。

教师出示图片问学生已学过单词：angry, afraid, sad, worried, happy
Step 2: Presentation （呈现目标，自主学习）
1.读学习目标，检查预习情况，教师情景导入新课
① 观看Let’s talk动画课件。
② 感知对话大体内容和意思。回答问题：What’s this cartoon about It’s about…
2.听录音。（listen to the tape and try to remember their pronunciation.）(听录音，用红笔画出你不会读的单词或句子。)
3.带问题听录音。
（1）What are Sarah and Sam talking about ( 2)What does the cat do
(3)Why is the cat angry with the mice
4．听录音后，根据问题回答。.
5．跟录音读，跟老师读。
Step 3: Co-operation (合作交流，对学、群学)
1．合作探究单词或句型（创设情景，学习、理解、操练和运用句型）
（1）根据上面的听音，回答问题。
（2）出示图片引出句型：What does your father/mother do
(3) be afraid of 和be angry with 的用法,拓展be worried about
(4) 教师出示图片操练句型。

教师出示句型及图片，学生两人一组操练小对话，之后选择2-3组进行展示。

5. 再听Let’s talk部分录音，生轻声跟读，然后巡视指导学生的小组活动，帮助学生改正错误，语调自然，动作到位进行朗读表演。

看图说对话或创编对话。
分小组进行班内表演Let’s talk部分的展示。其余学生认真倾听并作评价
