本课是PEP教材五年级上册Unit 1 What’s he like 本单元一共5课时,本课为第4课时
【设计理念】
以新课标为导向,以大单元教学设计理念为依据,以言语交际为中心,借助现代信息技术,努力为学生创设理想的英语学习环境,渗透任务型教学,能让学生把所学的内容联系实际,在生活中运用,提供丰富的网络资源,倡导体验、实践、参与、交流与合作的学习方式。
【教学目标】
一、语言知识目标
1.能够在图片和教师的帮助下理解Let’s talk 板块对话的大意
2.能够按照正确的意群及语音、语调朗读并表演对话
3.能够根据人物的体貌及性格特征在情景中运用句型“—What’s he/she like
—He’s/She’s…”进行问答
二、思维能力目标
4.学生能够在语境中理解句子“Ms Wang will be our new Chinese teacher.”的意义并能正确朗读
5.学生能够根据朋友或教师的性格,运用句型“—What’s he/she like —He’s/She’s…”展开问答
三、学习能力目标
1.能够在情景中运用词汇和句型
2. 通过不同的学习任务,学生能有意识地运用所学字、词、句,培养“说英语”的能力。

【教学重点】

1.本节课采用Quick Flash的方法,通过让学生在新学期伊始回忆熟悉的面孔并认识新同学Oliver,然后从Oliver 的角度去认识新老师,适时地导入新知并进行新词和核心句型的学习。
2.新词的学习做到了词不离句; 任务型教学法的采用强化了学生对文本的理解; 以学生为本,构建有效的对话情境,引导学生自主合作;突出语言的语用功能,通过学科整合进行拓展,让学生学以致用,提升了学生的综合语言运用能力。
3.不同形式的朗读及角色扮演,训练了学生使用正确的语音、语调,并在具体的语境中落实了核心句型的运用。
