Step 1:Warming up
Ask and answer the questions about public signs:
1.What signs do you know
2.Where can you see them
3.Do you always obey the rules that are written on the signs
Step 2:Language practice
1.Read the sentences and fill in the blanks with the proper words.

2.Then check the answers.
3.Read through the example sentences in the box with the whole class.
4.Ask the students to repeat the sentences in the box.

1.Revise the usage of imperative sentences.
2.Match the signs with the rules in Activity 1.
3.Check the answers and read the signs aloud.
4.Look at the signs and write down the rules in Activity 2.
5.Let three students write their answers on the blackboard.
6.Check the answers.
Step 4:Practice 2
1.Revise the usage of adverbial clauses:if…do
2.Complete the sentences with the correct form of the words in brackets in Activity 3.
