1.开音节：又可分为绝对开音节和相对开音。
① 绝对开音节：一个元音字母后面没有辅音字母的重读音节。也就是
“辅音字母+元音字母”。
例如： me [mi:] hi [ha ] no [n ]
②相对开音节：一个元音字母后面加一个辅音字母(r 除外)，再加一个不发音的字母e构成的重读音节。也就是“元音字母+辅音字母+e”。
例如：name [ne m ] these [ i:z] bike [ba k] home [h m]
（五个元音字母a, e, i, o, u在开音节中发字母本身的读音即：
[e ] [i:] [a ] [ ] [ju:]）
2.闭音节： 一个元音字母后面有辅音字母(r 除外)或辅音字母组合结尾的重读音节。如：

it 是第三人称单数形式，常代替上文中的单数可数名词或不可数名词，也可代指this或 that，it’s 是 it is 的缩写形式。
