library作可数名词,其复数形式为libraries,in the library意为“在图书馆”。

2. Ask the teacher for it.
1) ask作动词,在此处意为“请求;要求”,ask... for... 意为
“请求……给予……”。
2) ask作动词,还可意为“询问”,其反义词为answer(回答)。

3. I lost my school ID card.
1) lost是动词lose的过去式,意为“遗失;丢失”。其反义词为
find(找到; 发现)。
2) Lost可表示“寻物启事”,Found可表示“失物招领”,
Lost and Found 表示“失物招领处”。
3) lost还可作形容词,意为“丢失的;失去的”。

4. I must find it.
1) must是情态动词, 其后接动词原形,没有人称和时态的变化。
2) must的否定形式为mustn’t,表示禁止,意为“不可以”。

find v.找到; 发现
find作动词,意为“找到;发现”,其过去式和过去分词均为found。
