The British are known to be great sports lovers. When they are neither playing nor watching games, they like to talk about them. Many of the games we play now come from Britain.

One of the most typical (典型的) British games is cricket (板球). It is often played in schools, colleges, universities, and by club teams all over the country. Summer isn't summer without cricket. True fans will travel from one end of the country to the other to see their favourite team play. There are a lot of professional (专业的) football clubs all over Britain.
The British also like to play baseball, golf, hockey (高尔夫球、曲棍球), and grass-hockey. Many other sports, such as running, jumping, swimming, boxing, are also popular. Bread is eaten with most meals in France. The most popular bread the French eat is called a baguette. It is made from flour, yeast (面粉、酵母), salt, and water. Ten million baguettes are sold every year in France. Because the French expect their bread to be super fresh, most of France's 30, 000 bakers (面包师傅) have to end their day by throwing their remaining baguettes away.
Frenchman Franck Wallet thought about the problem of food waste for many years. He talked with some engineers (工程师) to see if they could come up with a way of solving it. In 2015, a way was found. They called it the “Crumbler”, a machine that helps to make use of old bread.
When a hot baguette is done, it is crispy (脆的) on the outside and as soft as a cloud on the inside. As it cools down, the bread becomes hard, and then it may not be so tasty. Before the Crumbler was invented, the old bread would be thrown away. Today, if the old bread is placed into the Crumbler, it is quickly turned into very fine breadcrumbs ( 面包屑). These can be mixed with fresh flour, yeast, salt and water and baked again to make a new piece of bread. Bread made with Crumbler breadcrumbs has a little darker colour. The taste is also a little different. Because less water is used in Crumbler bread, it will last a little longer.
The Crumbler is now on sale and bakers throughout France are making sure they have one. No one wants to waste food. The Crumbler is not the only way to make use of unwanted bread. One city in the Netherlands collects waste bread at the end of each day and turns it into natural gas (天然气).
1. Baguettes are the most _______________ bread in France.
2. The Crumbler was invented in _______________.
3. Bread made with Crumbler breadcrumbs looks _______________.
4. The Crumbler is popular among _______________ in France because they don't want to waste food.
