Do you know who wrote these books
It is often called "The Great American Novel".
Samuel Clemens, more commonly known as Mark Twain, was born on November 30, 1835 in Florida, Missouri. Twain is considered the greatest author and humorist of 19th Century American Literature (文学).
Work in pairs. Look at the pictures. Say who the people are and why they are famous.
We describe him more as a teacher and thinker than a writer.
Even today his works are still read by many people and also his wise thoughts still influence a number of people.
