Unit 3 I’m more outgoing than my sister 单元整体教学设计
单元主题意义 本单元的主题属于“人与社会 ”范畴，本单元以描述某人的个性特征为中心而展开，围绕talk about personal traits and compare people 这个话题开展多种教学活动，从外表和性格两方面比较任务之间的相同点和不同点。引导学生正确评价朋友，引导学生结实真正的好朋友，同时注意不定代词的用法。
单元教学目标 通过本单元的学习，学生能够： 目标a：掌握描述个人特征的表达方式。 目标b：结识朋友，介绍朋友，了解朋友，形成一个学习集体，互相帮助。 目标c：介绍朋友是要尊重朋友，实事求是地评价朋友和自己，培养、珍惜朋友之间真实而美好的友谊。 目标d：能够运用索绪尔结构和句式向被人介绍自己和朋友的异同，比较级的运用。 与核心素养的关系： 学完本单元后，学生能够发散学生思维，拓宽学生知识渠道，通过合作学习，帮助学生了解并借鉴他人的有效学习方法，不断提高自己的学习效率。
整体教学思路及教学结构图 1.来源& 内容： 本单元是《新目标英语》系列教材之一Go for it !八年级上册的第三单元。Section A部分重在从听说读三个方面比较不同双胞胎之间外表和性格的区别，附带这在3a也提出了as..as结构the same as结构来表达两个人的相同之处。与Section A部分比较，Section B部分则深入地比较自己和朋友的相同之处与不同之处，并引出了“选择朋友”这个话题，引导学生正确评价朋友，引导学生结识真正的好朋友，同时注意不定代词的用法。 2.纵向知识关联： 功能： 1.能谈论人的个性特征。 能简单比较人物特征。 话题： 人的个性特征。 语言知识： 表述个性特征，对人物进行比较 。 形容词和副词的比较级，both的用法。 词汇：more , than , taller , shorter , thinner , longer , heavier , quieter , funnier , smarter , be different from 3.横向知识关联： （1 ）复习七年级下册Unit 9What does she look like的相关短语； （2 ）本单元出现的语法也为八下Unit 7，九年级Unit 4 打下基础。 （3 ）本单元也反复强调了一般现在时，依旧带新。 教学结构图：

Section B 2a-2e 读写课 第四课时 能学会重点单词、短语及目标语言。阅读短文获得正确信息，并能完成相关任务，提高学生的综合阅读能力。 激励性评价贯穿始末，考虑到学生的心里特征以及英语这门学科的特殊性，只要学生参与课堂活动中来并进行认证的反馈，教师均应给出鼓励性评价，以此来提高学生学习的积极性。
Section B 3a-Self check 写作课 第五课时 复习如何对两者进行比较，能够综合运用所学的知识来对两个事物或人物进行比较。 总结回顾形容词和副词的比较比较形式，并熟练掌握所学的知识。 作文当堂互评，再分析作文的框架和参考词汇后，让学生进行小组互评，最后小组展示最佳作文，通过白板展示，供全班学生赏析，学生互评的方式可以让学生通过取长补短，共同进步。

教材（语篇）分析： 【what】 本课内容是一节听说课，学习并自由运用形容词和副词的比较级。了 【why】 通过一系列的活动，能够运用形容词和副词比较级描述自己看到的人和物。 【how】 通过情景交际及自主学习与合作学习相结合从而使语言学习的实践和应用能力的提升。
学情分析： 自然情况 经过仅近一年的任务型语言教学的训练，部分学生已经初步养成较好的英语学习习惯，能够在课堂上听懂老师的英文指令，并且能够根据老师的要求用目标语言完成各项任务。 （二）已有基础 谈人物的特点这一话题学生熟悉且喜欢，七年级已经学过一些描述人、物的形容词，学生也已经积累了一定的词汇量，可以用英语进行简单的交流和描述。
（三）存在问题
比较级对学生来说是第一次出现的新语言知识，学生需要描述和对比人物，学生在记忆这些单词时可能会有一定的难度。 （四）解决措施 通过各种方式对新句型与新单词进行反复大量的操练显得尤为重要。
教学目标： 通过本课学习，学生能够： 学生能学会重点单词，短语及目标语言（学习理解） 重点单词及短语：outgoing , better , loudly , quietly , hard-working 目标语言：Sam has longer hair than Tom . Tina is taller than Tara. And she also sings more loudly than Tara . 通过听说技能的训练，能够体会形容词和副词比较级的构成及句式结构 （应用实践） 在说的过程中，能对人物的外表进行描绘，个性进行比较。 （迁移创新）
