Task description
Pupils prepare for a school interview by first writing down answers to questions and then by role-playing an interview with a teacher from a secondary school.

Part A
Pupils prepare for a secondary school interview by writing answers to the questions on the task sheet.
Part B
Pupils get into pairs and role-play an interview with a teacher from a secondary school. Tell them to refer to the Pupil’s Book for the appropriate ways to start and end a conversation. Remind them that they should have good manners in an interview situation.
More able pupils could evaluate each other’s performance after the role-play. They give suggestions to each other to prepare for school interviews better.
