Task 1 A display of the seasons
Task description
Pupils with the same favourite season get into the same group and talk about their favourite season and activities. Then all the groups make a display of the seasons and the activities for different seasons.

Task steps
Read the rubrics and examples carefully with the class. Practise the language needed for the task and demonstrate the steps by using the pictures at each step of the task.
Part A
Pupils get into groups with classmates who have the same favourite season. They talk about what the weather is like and what they do in that season.
Part B
Pupils make a display of the seasons using photos and other objects that they have brought to the class.
Pupils write captions describing the weather and what activities they do in each season.
More able pupils could describe the four seasons in front of the class.
