Task 2 A book about my friends
Task description
Pupils interview their friends and make notes about them. They use the collected information to make a book about their friends.
Learning target(s)

KSa to provide or find out and present simple information on familiar topics

Task steps
Read the rubrics and examples carefully with the class. Practise the language needed for the task and demonstrate the steps by using the pictures at each step of the task.
Part A
Pupils choose four friends and ask them some questions about themselves based on the ones provided in the task steps.
More able pupils could tell their friend more about themselves, e.g. I like cats. etc.
Part B
Pupils make notes about their friends on Copymaster 1.
Part C
Pupils write their friends’ information in sentences on the paper on Copymasters 2 and 3 and draw a picture of each friend.
Part D
Then they draw all four friends on a piece of paper as a book cover and make a ‘My friends’ book.
