一、课题:
译林版小学英语六年级下册Unit 8 Our dreams(Story time)
二、教材简解:
本课话题是“我们的梦想",旨在通过此话题讨论,引导学生树立正确的价值观,心怀梦想并为实现自己的梦想努力奋斗。本课的目标词汇都和职业相关,教师可以利用一些小游戏复习相关词汇,设计教学活动,导入目标词汇。教师也可以拓展一些常见的职业词汇,以丰富教学内容。
三、目标预设:
1. 能听懂、会读、会说dream, future, care about, astronaut, spaceship, football player, World Cup, dancer, pianist, come true。
2. 能听懂、会读、会说日常用语What do you want to be I want to be …
3. 能正确地理解并朗读对话内容,在教师的引导和帮助下尝试复述课文。
4. 能初步运用本课所学的词汇和日常用语谈论梦想。
5. 进行情感教育:只有通过自己的努力、坚持,才能实现自己的梦想。
四、教学重点和难点:

五、设计理念:
本课时教学主要采取“生本自主”课堂教学模式,教学中充分发挥学生的学习主动性,通过给与任务、小组合作、讨论探究等方式让学生自主学习,获得知识,形成能力,变教师灌输式教学为学生主动学习,使学生获得学习的动力,变听懂了为学懂了。
六、设计思路:
通过Free talk引出“马丁的早晨”这部卡通片,谈论他的梦想,拉开“梦想”的帷幕,并猜测老师的梦想,引出主题→谈话引入职业,设计猜谜游戏,复习、新授部分职业单词→学生用新句型分享梦想→通过图片引入Story time的学习,看课文卡通,对课文有个整体感知,并将课文分为男孩们、女孩们以及老师的梦想这三个部分进行教学,且每个部分层层递进的设计了听、读、说、写任务,真正了解了本课的精髓,锻炼学生的各项能力→进入孩子们的阅读时间,跟读、自主选择读书方式进行阅读,提高学生口语,培养语感→ 巩固环节中,设计填空题,帮助李老师完成她的学生的梦想,提高学生理解课文以及复述能力;制作心愿卡并交流,将所学知识运用到生活中,升华感情。→Ticking time给学生一个回顾反思的机会,让学生对这节课的学习有了一个梳理的过程→对学生进行情感教育,只有通过自己的努力、坚持,才能实现自己的梦想。
七、教学过程:
Step1. Warm up
1. Greetings
T: Good morning/afternoon,boys and girls.
Ss: Good morning/afternoon, Miss Zhu.
T: Do you like watching cartoons
Ss: Yes, we do.
T: Did you watch Martin’s morning
Ss: Yes./No.
T: Martin had a lot of dreams. Let’s have a look.
2. Show the flash about Martin’s dream.
【设计意图:通过自由对话,谈论是否喜欢看卡通片,引入孩子们比较熟悉的“马丁的早晨”这部卡通片,观看有关他的梦想的flash,吸引学生兴趣,让学生在快乐的氛围中拉开“梦想”的帷幕,给学生的学习指明了方向。】
3. T: Martin had so many dreams. When I was a primary school student, I had a dream. Can you guess You can guess like this:“Did you want to be a/an… ”(学生猜测)
4. T: I wanted to be a teacher at that time. Now, my dream comes true. Everyone has dreams. You all have your own dreams. Today, we are going to talk about Unit8. our dreams.(揭题并板书)
【设计意图:设计游戏,让学生猜测老师的梦想,初步感知want to be 用法以及come true 的意思,继而过渡到每个人都有自己的梦想,揭示主题,循序渐进,自然流畅。】
Step 2. Presentation and practice
1. T: What is dream What does it mean

2. T: It stands for: What jobs do we want to do Now ,look, there are many jobs. Please tell me what are they.(出示图片,学生回答)
3. Play a guessing game:通过所描述的内容以及图片一部分,猜测职业。
(1).He can fly a spaceship to the moon.( Learn: an astronaut )

(2).出示部分图片, T: What is it Ss: It’s a piano. T: Who is playing the piano

(3).同法教学:football player, dancer
【设计意图:让学生明白梦想的意义,就是将来想要做什么,引出职业,以旧带新,通过图片以及Guessing game的游戏环节进行复习、新授职业,将枯燥的单词教学游戏化,寓教于乐;又为下面学生交流自己的梦想奠定基础。】

【设计意图:让学生们分享自己的梦想,话题性比较强,以六年级学生的现有知识以及年龄特征,这部分是有话可说的;且在前面一些环节中,已扫清了一些词汇以及句子的障碍,学生们也乐于交流。】
5. Learn Story time
(1).出示课文图片,T: Who are they Ss: They are Miss Li, Liu Tao, Su Hai, Wang Bing, Mike, Nancy and Yang Ling.(将人物头像贴于黑板上) What are they doing Do you want to know Watch the cartoon, answer the questions:
Q1: What is Miss Li doing
Q2: How many parts can we divide the Story time (我们能把Story time分成几部分?)
分成三个部分:Boys’ dreams,Girls’ dreams 和The teacher’s dream。
(2).First, let’s go into Boys’ dreams. Listen to the dialogue of P78, match the boys with their dreams.
(3).T: Why do they have these dreams Read the dialogue of P78, underline the key sentences, find out the reasons, then introduce their dreams.
E g: I think Mike/Wang Bing/Liu Tao is a boy.
He wants to be .

Learn: care about, fly a spaceship to the Moon, play in the World Cup (板书)
(4). T: What do you think of their dreams Can you evaluate them 引导学生回答:cool, nice, excellent, great等等。
T: Let's see how Li Miss is evaluated. :“Your dreams are great!”
(5). T: Next,Let’s go into Girls’ dreams. Read the dialogue of P79 in roles(Four students a group), make a poem in groups and read it emotionally with the music.

【设计意图:对于Story time的教学,一开始让学生观看课文动画,让学生对文章有个初步感知,并将文章分为三个部分进行教学,脉络分明,层次清晰。前半部分的教学,层层递进的设计了听、读、说、写任务,通过让学生完成相应的任务,来理清课文的思路。学生可以在不知不觉中达到理解语篇这样一个教学目标。课文的后半部分在这里完全地放手让学生去自学,通过诗歌的编唱让学生更轻松的掌握、运用新学的知识。只需要教师适时的点拨就可以了,可以更好的提高他们的各方面能力。同时,在“生本自主”的理念下,也能更好的体现学生是课堂的主人。】

【设计意图:阅读课除了“阅”还要“读”。因此,在理解课文的同时,已有了一定的语音输入,但不细致。老师进行必要的朗读指导,加深学生对文章独有的理解与情感。另外,让学生自由选择自己喜爱的方式来朗读课文,并让学生在小组内进行练习,充分体现了小组的力量,让学习上有困难的学生也能在小组同学的帮助下主动进行阅读,提高每一位学生学习的主动性;并通过小组展示给学生充分的自我展示机会,激发学生的阅读兴趣。】

Make a dream card and stick them on the dream tree.( Ask some students to show their dreams. )
【设计意图:创设情景,感情升华。高年级的学习不仅仅是就文本而文本,在理解这些的基础上,能有更高的要求,会用自己的语言说说收获,让学生的语言学以致用。在巩固环节中,设计了两个读、写、说的任务,使之有机结合,提高学生对文章的理解以及对语言的综合运用能力。】

【设计意图:在课快结束时进行总结,给学生一个回顾反思的机会,让学生对这节课的学习有了一个梳理的过程,这有利于学生更好地掌握这节课所学的内容。最后,对学生进行情感教育,让学生在习得知识的同时,也学会了人生的宝贵道理,感情得到最大程度的升华。】
