Unit 3 I’m more outgoing than my sister 单元整体教学设计
单元主题意义 本单元的主题属于“人与社会 ”范畴,本单元以描述某人的个性特征为中心而展开,围绕talk about personal traits and compare people 这个话题开展多种教学活动,从外表和性格两方面比较任务之间的相同点和不同点。引导学生正确评价朋友,引导学生结实真正的好朋友,同时注意不定代词的用法。
单元教学目标 通过本单元的学习,学生能够: 目标a:掌握描述个人特征的表达方式。 目标b:结识朋友,介绍朋友,了解朋友,形成一个学习集体,互相帮助。 目标c:介绍朋友是要尊重朋友,实事求是地评价朋友和自己,培养、珍惜朋友之间真实而美好的友谊。 目标d:能够运用索绪尔结构和句式向被人介绍自己和朋友的异同,比较级的运用。 与核心素养的关系: 学完本单元后,学生能够发散学生思维,拓宽学生知识渠道,通过合作学习,帮助学生了解并借鉴他人的有效学习方法,不断提高自己的学习效率。
整体教学思路及教学结构图 1.来源& 内容: 本单元是《新目标英语》系列教材之一Go for it !八年级上册的第三单元。Section A部分重在从听说读三个方面比较不同双胞胎之间外表和性格的区别,附带这在3a也提出了as..as结构the same as结构来表达两个人的相同之处。与Section A部分比较,Section B部分则深入地比较自己和朋友的相同之处与不同之处,并引出了“选择朋友”这个话题,引导学生正确评价朋友,引导学生结识真正的好朋友,同时注意不定代词的用法。 2.纵向知识关联: 功能: 1.能谈论人的个性特征。 能简单比较人物特征。 话题: 人的个性特征。 语言知识: 表述个性特征,对人物进行比较 。 形容词和副词的比较级,both的用法。 词汇:more , than , taller , shorter , thinner , longer , heavier , quieter , funnier , smarter , be different from 3.横向知识关联: (1 )复习七年级下册Unit 9What does she look like的相关短语; (2 )本单元出现的语法也为八下Unit 7,九年级Unit 4 打下基础。 (3 )本单元也反复强调了一般现在时,依旧带新。 教学结构图:

Section B 3a-Self check 写作课 第五课时 复习如何对两者进行比较,能够综合运用所学的知识来对两个事物或人物进行比较。 总结回顾形容词和副词的比较比较形式,并熟练掌握所学的知识。 作文当堂互评,再分析作文的框架和参考词汇后,让学生进行小组互评,最后小组展示最佳作文,通过白板展示,供全班学生赏析,学生互评的方式可以让学生通过取长补短,共同进步。

1.什么是形容词的原级?
表示修饰两种东西的程度是一样的,用as….as表示原级,译为:“和…一样”。
2.什么是形容词的比较级?
表示两者相比,一个比另一个更…,有比较级的句中有than,且仅限于两者比较。

表示两者之间没有差别时,使用句型:

表示第一个人比不上第二个人时,使用句型:

莉莉骑车不像老太太那样慢。

比较级的用法
讲述两者有差异, 第一个人物超过第二个人
物时用比较级。
基本句型:主语(‘A’)+谓语动词+形容词/副词比较级+than+主语(‘B’)+….
e.g. A modern train is faster than a car.
现代的火车比轿车快多了。
This book didn’t cost me more than that one.
这本书花费我的钱不比那本多。
在形容词比较级前还可用much, even, still, a little来修饰, 表示“…的多”, “甚至…”, “更…”, “…一些”。
e.g. 1) This city is much more beautiful than before.
2) She’s a little more outgoing than me.
3) It’s a little colder today.
3.“比较级+and+比较级”意为“越来越…” 。多音节比较级用“more and more+形容词原级”形式。如:
It’s getting worse and worse.
The group became more and more popular.
4. “Which / Who is + 比较级…?”
比较A、B两事物, 问其中哪一个较……时用此句型
如:
Which T-shirt is nicer, this one or that one
Who is more active, Mary or Kate
Which one is more popular among students, going to concerts or going to movies
5. 使用形容词比较级时需注意以下几点:
1) than后面接代词时, 一般要用主格形式,但在口语中也可使用宾格形式。 如:
My brother is taller than I/me.
2) 当需要表示一方超过另一方的程度时,可以用much, a lot, a little, a bit, even, still等来修饰形容词比较级。
注意: 比较级不能用very, so, too, quite等修饰。如:
He is much more serious than Sam.
3) 形容词比较级后面往往用连词than连接另一个比较的人或事物, 但在上下文明确的情况下, 形容词比较级可单独使用。如:
My sister is tall, but my aunt is taller.
我姐姐个子高, 但我姑姑个子更高。
4) 进行比较的人和物必须是同一类。
My books are more than yours.
I have more books than you.
