二、课标分析
教师要基于主题意义开展单元整体教学设计,借助某一主题或者主线有层次的设计和开展教学,才更加符合英语学习者的语言学习和认知规律。(义务教育英语课程标准(2022年版)》指出:“英语课程的实施要充分发挥核心素养的统领作用,以主题为引领选择和组织课程内容,以语篇为依托融入语言知识、文化知识、语言技能以及学习策略等学习要求,以单元的形式呈现。“2022版课标”的课程六要素新增了“主题”和“语篇”两个要素,并突出了单元整体教学的重要性。单元整体教学过程的设计要先从整体安排教学环节,形成单元框架结构。(王建平,2020)无论是单元整体框架,还人律国毒,都要有学生的学习活动作支撑,围绕单元学习重点、促进单元目标的达成,因此学习活动要体现整合性和纵深行。
三、教材分析
本单元以老师的性格特征为主线,重点学习描述人物性格特征的词汇和句型,整单元围绕人物的性格特征展开一系列话题,帮助学生知道怎样形容亲人、朋友或自己喜欢的人的外形,并懂得热爱自己和身边的人。用英语描述他人是小学生喜欢做的事情,描述自己喜欢的老师、朋友或明星,更能激起他们开口说英语的欲望。教学时可以让学生通过完成各种任务型活动来感知新的语言点,减轻教学难度。
四、学情分析
在心理特征上,五年级的学生活泼好动、对新话题充满兴趣,喜欢表现自我勇于挑战;在知识上,五年级的学生己有了四年的英语学习基础,已经具备一定的英语学习能力,较好的听、说、读、写英语的习惯已基本养成。他们生性活泼好动,好奇心强,模仿力强,对新事物有着强烈的好奇心,探离可气管改望很强烈。同时,五年级学生即将步入六年级,制作合理的成长规划有助于培养学生正确人生观价值观的形成。而且,他们已有较强的个人荣誉感,他们渴望得到老师和同伴的认可本单元主题是带领Oliver认识老师和同学该主题属于“人与自我”和“人与社会”范畴,涉及“学校生活与个人感受”和“同伴交往,相互尊重,友好互助"。
五、单元内容分析
国绕单元主题,深挖各课时话题,在单元大任务的统领下,划分成6个板块。
第1板块Part A Lets talk话题What's your teacher( Mr Li.Mr Young. Miss White) like 意义:Different teachers, different subjects, same education.
第2板块Part A Let’s learn.话题:Teacher's information。意义: Know more about the teachers
第3板块Part B Let's talk.话题:Ms Wang's character,Your friend's character.意义:A mother a teacher. A teacher, a mother
第4板块Part B Let's learn.话题:The character of the classmates.意义: Different classmates, good friends.
第5板块Part B Read and write话题:What's Robin like .意义:A good friend can be both helpful and strict.
第6板块Part C Story time话题: Our New PE teacher.意义:Don't judge people by their appearances.
六、单元总目标
在本单元学习结束时,学生能够;
1.掌握A、B部分"Let's learn","Let's talk中的词汇和句子。
2.能正确地询问和回答各科老师的性格特征,如"What's your maths teacher like!","Is he funny ","Yes, he is.","No,he isn't."
3.能顺利完成本单元的听力、对话、表演、写作、连线、填空等任务。
4.能读懂“Story time”部分的趣味故事。
5.能听懂,会唱歌曲"Who's your teacher "。
6.复习元音字母在单词中的发音,培养学生对英语单词发音的语感。
7.激发学生学习英语的兴趣,帮助学生树立学好英语的信心,逐步培养学生自主学习、合作学习的能力和欲望。
8.培养学生尊敬、热爱老师的情感,提高学生在与人相处时准确判断他人性格特征的意识和能力。
9.培养学生乐于助人、努力学习的美好品德。
七、语篇分析
本单元是人教版英语(三年级起点)五年级上册第一单元,主要围绕“Respect others and accept oneself"这一话题展开,单元话题内容设计了五个语篇,分别是三篇日常生活对话,一篇日记,一篇配图故事,围绕单元子主题“了解不同老师的性格”“根据性格特征,广泛结交朋友”“学会尊重他人,不能以貌取人”展开。
语篇一(Part A Let's talk & Let's learn)是小学生日常生活对话,围绕老师的性格特征展开。PartA Let's talk部分,Wu Binbin和Oliver在谈论新来的音乐老师Mr Young,他是年长的也很有趣,Oliver喜欢有趣老师。Let's learn部分是Oliver和Zhang Peng在谈论不同科目老师的性格和外貌特征,引导学生学会欣赏他人、尊重他人,树立正确的审美观念。
语篇二(Part B Let's talk)是小学生日常对话,围绕新来的语文老师Ms Wang展开,Chen Jie和John在谈论新来的语文老师Ms Wang,她很友好有时候也很严厉,她是陈洁的妈妈。
语篇三(Part B Let's learn)是词汇课,围绕同学的性格特征展开,Oliver和Amy在谈论同学的性格特征,陈洁是有礼貌的,Sarah是乐于助人的,张鹏聪明,Wu Binbin学习努力,通过谈论同学的性格特征引导学生学会欣赏他人,悦纳自己并据性格特征,广泛结交朋友。
语篇四( Part B Read and write)是一篇日记,围绕机器人Robin展开,Wu Binbin的爷爷制作了一个机器人,他的名字是Robin,Robin矮但是强壮,他非常的聪明,会说汉语和英语。他很勤奋,在家非常乐于助人,他也很严厉,总是督促Wu Binbin完成作业。学生通过阅读日记,了解机器人Robin的性格外貌特征,完成读后的写作任务,明白交好友需要具备的性格特征。
语篇五是配图故事。Zoom和Zip在谈论新来的体育老师,没见到体育老师时,他们只知道他时一个很好的足球运动员,认为他一定又高又壮,但是后面发现体育老师是rabbit,他又矮又瘦。通过阅读趣味故事,引导学生要学会尊重他人,不能以貌取人。

语篇分析 What:学生能够听、说、读、写五个描述人物年龄和性格特点的形容词“old, young, funny, kind, strict”。学生能够在语境中熟练运用这五个单词询问并回答关于人物性格及外貌特征的问题。Why:本课时的词汇是描述人的基础,可以回答关于人物性格及外貌特征的问题。How:先通过Oliver想要了解学校的老师,引出每一个老师的性格特点,学习young,funny,kind,strict.通过Is.... Yes,.../No,...句型来操练单词。最后利用Ask and answer巩固和运用词汇。
教学目标教学重点、难点 1.学生能够听、说、读、写五个描述人物年龄和性格特点的形容词“old, young, funny, kind, strict”。2.学生能够在语境中熟练运用这五个单词询问并回答关于人物性格及外貌特征的问题。3.学生能够根据图片提示或实际情况运用“Let’s learn”板块的单词和句型。
