本单元的话题是谈论两个人的比较，自然要用到形容词、副词的比较级，所以大家在写作前一定要做好相关的知识储备。
关于形容词、副词的原级：
例如：She is a beautiful girl with long hair.（没有作比较，用形容词beautiful的原级）。
Alice has curly brown hair. 爱丽丝拥有卷的棕色头发。（没有作比较，用形容词curly的原级）。
又如：Bob gets up as early as his mother. 鲍勃和他妈妈起得一样早。（比出的结果一样，用副词early的原级。）
His hair is as short as his friend Tom. 他的头发和他朋友汤姆的头发一样短。（比出的结果一样，用形容词short的原级。）
关于形容词、副词的比较级：
例如：He gets better grades at English than me. 他在英语方面取得比我更好的成绩。
（两者之间的比较，用形容词good的比较级better。）
又如：Alice sings more clearly than Tom. 爱丽丝比汤姆唱歌唱得更清楚。
