We thought somebody was moving about.
We came out without making any noise, and found it was just a hungry monkey looking for food.
I pulled a leaf off a plant, but Lingling’s uncle said that it was wrong to pull leaves off plants and that we should protect everything here.
2. To be able to get some information from the email about Zhangjiajie.
3. To learn to describe the tourist attractions and write a passage about it.
4. To learn to love the natural beauties and learn how to protect the environment during the travelling.

Activity 2 Grammar.
that引导的宾语从句
宾语从句是用来充当宾语的句子。带有宾语从句的那个句子叫主句。宾语从句一般由“引导词+主语+谓语+其他”构成,其语序是陈述语序。
1. 引导词 that
that引导的宾语从句由陈述句转化而来,用于陈述一件事情,that无意义,在口语或非正式文体中可以省略。
2. 主句谓语动词的使用
当主句的谓语动词是say, know, think, hear, hope, wish, believe, tell, remember, forget等时,或主句的谓语动词是形容词afraid, glad, sure, sorry等构成的系表结构时,后面常接that引导的宾语从句。
3. 宾语从句时态的选择
(1) 当主句时态是一般现在时或一般将来时时,宾语从句可以根据需要来使用各种时态。
(2) 当主语时态是一般过去时时,宾语从句用表示过去的某种时态。
4. 宾语从句的否定转移
当主句的谓语动词是think, guess, believe, suppose等,且主句的主语为第一人称时,若后面的宾语从句表示否定概念,一般将否定词not转移到主句的谓语中,这种现象叫“否定转移”。
宾语从句小口诀:
宾语从句三注意,时态语序引导词;
主句一般现在时,从句不需受限制;
主句一般过去时,从句须用相应时。
