Task 3 A day at camp
Task description
Pupils write a timetable for Tuesday at a school camp. Then they role-play calling their parents from the school camp.

Task steps
Read the rubrics and examples carefully with the class. Practise the language needed for the task and demonstrate the steps by using the pictures at each step of the task. Revise the text type ‘timetables’ on page 17 of the Pupil’s Book with pupils.
Part A
Pupils write a timetable for Tuesday at a school camp. They can use the activities given on the Copymaster as a reference.
Part B
Then they get into pairs. They role-play a pupil calling his/her parents from the school camp. They choose from their timetable three things they did and tell their parents about them.
More able pupils could write timetables for two or more days.
