Task steps

Divide the class into groups of four. Give each group a set of pictures and notes. Ask pupils to put the pictures and the notes face down on their desk.
Pupils then take turns to turn over a picture and a note. When a picture and a note match, they tell their group who they helped and how, according to what is written on the note. If they make correct sentences, they keep the pair of cards.
Pupils keep playing until there are no more notes left. The pupil with the most pairs of cards is the winner.
More able pupils could write a note or notes to reply to the person(s) on the notes they have collected. They tell them what they have done.
Get into groups of four. Turn over a picture card and a note card. If the picture card matches the note card, make a sentence about who you helped and how.
