Task 5 Food we like best
Task description
Pupils draw and write about the food they like best. Then they get into groups and tell the group leader about the food they like. Group leaders tell the class what food his/her group members like. Each group then makes a display of food from around the world.

Task steps
Read the rubrics and examples carefully with the class. Practise the language needed for the task and demonstrate the steps by using the pictures at each step of the task.
Part A
Pupils draw and write about the food they like best on the Copymaster. They may refer to the food they learnt in the Pupil’s Book.
More able pupils could draw and write about any food they know.
Part B
Pupils get into groups. The group leader asks and group members answer about the food they like best.
Part C
The group leader then tells the class what food his/her group members like.
