Task 5 A form for a fitness club
Task description
In pairs, pupils take turns to role-play the part of a member of staff at a fitness club and fill in a membership form for their partner.

Task steps
Read the rubric and example carefully with the class. Practise the language needed for the task and demonstrate the steps by using the pictures at each step of the task.
Pupils get into pairs. They take turns to role-play the staff member of a fitness club. They fill in their partner’s form on the Copymaster with the information they have asked for. Encourage more able pupils to do the role-play without referring to the Task steps sheet.
More able pupils could ask their partner other questions, like their interests.
