Task 6 Writing a poem
Task description
Using the poem on p.36 of Pupil’s Book 3A as a model, ask pupils to write a poem about the things they do at the beach.

Task steps
Read the rubric and example carefully with the class. Practise the language needed for the task and demonstrate the steps by using the pictures at each step of the task.
Pupils read the poem on p.36 of Pupil’s Book 3A.
Using that poem as a model, pupils write a poem on the task sheet about what they do at the beach. They can choose among the activities shown in the picture on the task sheet.
More able pupils could write another poem on what they do in the park.
