二、阅读理解
In England , it is traditional for a child to have a cake on his or her birthday . The cake contains the same number of candles as a child’s age . At some points during the party , the candles will be lit and the “birthday boy or girl”has to try to blow them out with one blow . He or she can then make a“ birthday wish”. The friends then sing the famous song“Happy Birthday”. It is customary for the friends to bring a small present and to be given a“ birthday hat” to wear during the party .
