一、人称代词：表示“你，我，他”等人称的代词，它有单复数、性别及主格、宾格的变化。人称代词的主格在句中作主语，人称代词的宾格在句中应放在动词或介词后充当宾语。

1.主格作主语，宾格作动词或介词的宾语。如：
He teaches us Chinese. 他教我们汉语。
2．人称代词宾格还可以作be动词的表语，也可用在than和as之后。如：
— Who is knocking at the door 谁在敲门？　— It's me. 是我。
He is taller than me. 他比我高。
3．三种人称代词并列时，顺序为：
◆单数：二，三，一 (you, she and I) 　复数：一，二，三 (we, you and they) 如：
She and I are in the same class. 她和我在同一个班级。
注意：若把责任担，第一人称最当先 (即若做错事时，把第一人称放在最前面) 如：
— Who broke the window 谁打破了窗户？
— I and Mike. 我和迈克。
二、物主代词：表示某人或某物的归属的代词。即“你的，我的，他的”等代词； 分为形容词性物主代词与名词性物主代词。形容词性物主代词在句中作定语，放在名词前； 名词性物主代词则代替一个名词，在句中用法与名词相同，其后不能再加名词。

1．形容词性物主代词作定语放在名词前，表示所属关系，不能单独使用。如：
(1) This is my English book. 这是我的英语书。
(2) His father is from America. 他父亲来自美国。
2．名词性物主代词，后面不能加名词，可单独在句中作主语、表语和宾语。名词性物主代词常与of连用。如：
(1) Our classroom is as big as theirs. 我们的教室和他们的一样大。
(2) This is a friend of mine. 这是我的一个朋友。
◆名词性物主代词＝形容词性物主代词＋名词 如：
This isn't my bag. Mine is here. 这不是我的包，我的在这儿。
◆ 形容词性物主代词与own 连用时，后面可跟名词也可不跟名词。如：
my own house ＝ a house of my own 我的房子

1.在肯定句中用somebody (＝ someone) /something;
在否定句及疑问句中用anybody (＝ anyone) /anything。
2．形容词或else修饰不定代词时，形容词或else应放在不定代词后面。如：something new。
3．疑问句中，当说话人期待对方作出肯定回答时，常用some-系列的不定代词。如：
Would you like something to eat 你想吃些东西吗？
