表示星期几的名词为专有名词， 首字母大写， 前用介词on， 后可接morning, afternoon, evening 等。
e.g. We do sports on Friday morning.
在星期五上午，我们做运动。
注意：当星期名称前有this，that，next，last 等词修饰时，其前不能再用介词on。

useful adj. 意为“有用的；有益的” 用作表语或定语。
e.g.What a useful subject it is!
它是一门多么有用的学科啊！
useful 虽是以元音字母u 开头，但其发音为/ju /，以辅音音素开头，故useful作定语修饰可数名词单数时，其前如果加不定冠词，应用a 而不是an。

fun n. 有趣的人（事物）；乐趣；玩笑
fun 用作不可数名词。本句中fun 表示“有意思的人；逗人开心的人；有趣的人”。fun 前面可搭配great，good 等。
e.g. Frank is great fun，so I like playing with him.
弗兰克很有趣，所以我喜欢和他在一起玩。
5.My classes finish at 1:50, but after that
I have an art lesson for two hours.
finish v. 意为“完成；做好”，与start 和begin 意思相反，在本句中用作不及物动词。
finish 用作及物动词时，其后可接名词或动词的-ing形式作宾语。
e.g. Jack always finishes doing his homework before dinner.
杰克总是在晚饭前做完他的家庭作业。
lesson/'lesn/n. 课；一节课,lesson 的常见搭配：have lessons=have a lesson，意为“上课”。teach sb. a lesson，意为“给某人一个教训”。
class和lesson的使用：
①当表示“学校的课”时，class和lesson区别不大，美式英语中常用class，英式英语中常用lesson。
②当表示“某种技能、技巧性的课程”时，常用lesson，较少用class。
e.g. piano lessons钢琴课 driving lessons驾驶课
③当表示“教材中的教学单元；课”时，常用lesson。class则还有“班；班级”的含义。
an art lesson for two hours表示“一节两小时的美术课”，此句中的介词for表示“持续某段时间”。
“for+ 时间段”的用法：
① for ＋时间段，表示(某个动作) 持续了多长时间。
② for ＋一段时间，常用“how long”进行提问。
hour n. 小时
hour 虽是以辅音字母“h”开头，但其发音是以元音音素开头，故其前用冠词an，而不用a。
