学情分析
本本次教学面临的是刚刚升入五年级的学生, 在心理特征上,五年级的学生活泼好动、对新话题充满兴趣,喜欢表现自我勇于挑战;在知识上,五年级的学生已有了四年的英语学习基础,已经具备一定的英语学习能力,较好的听、说、读、写英语的习惯已基本养成。他们生性活泼好动,好奇心强,模仿力强,对新事物有着强烈的好奇心,探索知识的欲望很强烈。,能够准确地理解简单的课堂用语,自主学习能力也有了很大的提高。由于学生们在以前的内容中接触过形容词,已经初步掌握了其功能,在此基础上他们更容易进入本单元的学习。
二、单元整体设计思路
围绕单元主题,深挖各课时话题,本单元学习的主题是“介绍老师同学的特征”。本单元要学习的核心词汇:表示特征的一些形容词和描述个人特征的相关句型。语篇核心词汇核心句型学习内容学习时长学习目标A learnkind, young, old, funny, strictWho’s your ... teacher Is he/she ... 语篇研读(附图)
本节课是对话篇, 本课时的主题意义是通过John and Chen Jie在谈论他们的新的语文老师,让学生感知本节课句型的语义及语用情景。先通过try部分听力任务, 引出主题, 导入John and Chen Jie对话部分, 先分解课文, 处理局部的重点句型,让学生进行小组合作操练句型,再回归语篇,解决问题Do you know him Is he ... Yes, he is. 或 No, he isn’t.逐步引导学生在发现问题,了解语言结构的同时,学会尊师爱友。

核心素养教学目标 能在图片和文本语境的帮助下, 在看、听、说的活动中,获取和梳理对话信息,理解对话中所使用的核心语言,理解talk部分对话.能在教师引导下,熟练运用句型-What's ... like 回答: -She/He's kind/young/polite/...2. Is he/she ... 回答: Yes, .../No, ...Do you know +人物 等谈论某个人的特征。通过游戏和小组合作等活动,学会与他人合作学习的能力。并能有意识地运用所学字、词、句,培养“说英语”的能力完成课堂练习, 巩固所学内容
