Teaching aims:
1. .能听说认读单词:soft , hard, thick, thin并能准确运用这些词汇来形容物品。
2. 能在生活的真实情景中,熟练运用句型“How does it feel It’s …”去询问和表达对物品的感受;
3.能运用句型“Is it a/an… Yes, it is./No, it isn’t. It’s a/an…”去询问和表达物品是什么。
4. 通过小组合作与交流, 鼓励学生大胆说英语。

III. Presentation
1.T: Do you like toys Today teacher brings some toys to our class. Let’s have a look! (教师拿出玩具熊)
What is it
What color is it
Is it big or small
Do you like it
T: I like it too. Let me touch it. Oh, it’s soft.
(用学生喜爱的小玩具吸引他们的注意力,引出本课新词“soft“)
(Show the toy car ) Learn the word “hard”.
Make the students touch and say: It’s soft /hard.
(Then show two books and compare them) learn the words “thick &thin”

3. Play a touching game.
T: You did a good job! A touching game for you!
Touch your nose.
How does it feel
S1: It’s soft.
Touch your desk. How does it feel S2: It’s hard.

T: Just now I asked you a question “How does it feel ” (出示问句) Do you know how to answer it (出示答句)“It’s …”
(通过让学生摸一摸的游戏引出问句“How does it feel ”并让学生回答触摸感受,使学生进一步理解句子的含义)
