Let’s try to speak English as much as possible.(第二课时)
【教学目标】
1. 语言知识:正确拼读单词、熟记重点短语;能正确运用表示建议的句子。
2. 语言技能:能听懂和读懂与学习问题、方法有关的对话,并且能对别人提出的问题提出相对应的建议。
3. 学习策略:积极运用所学英语进行表达和交流。
4. 情感态度:在学习中提出建议,并对他人的建议提出感谢。
5. 文化意识:意识到外语学习中的困难之处,更多地了解外国文化。
【教学重难点】
运用提建议的各种句式就语言学习提出建议。

新课导入:
Review:
1. —I can’t speak English well, what should I do
—You should speak English as much as possible.
2. —When I talk with my foreign friends, I can’t listen to them clearly.
—It’s a good idea to listen to English songs and watch English films.
3. —There are always some new words in a passage.
—Why not read for the key words and main idea
4. —It’s difficult for me to write an English article.
—How about finding some English pen friends and writing to them
新课讲授:Language points.
1. Work in pairs.
① in pairs 成双地;成对地
e.g. Let’s play the game in pairs.
② a pair of ... 一双/副/把……
常用于由相同的两个部分构成的事物名词前,如裤子、鞋子、眼镜等。a pair of ...作主语时,句子的谓语动词用单数形式。
e.g. a pair of glasses 一副眼镜;a pair of shoes 一双鞋
2. Practise saying the words.
practise v. 练习 practise doing sth. 练习做某事
e.g. His brother often practises playing the piano in the morning.
补充:① 后面常跟动词ing形式的动词:enjoy, finish, mind, avoid, keep等。
② practice n. 练习;实践(不可数名词)
e,g. Practice makes perfect.
3. Match the words with their meanings.
① v. 使匹配;使成对
match A with B 把A与B配对
e.g. Please match the people with their favourite sports.
② n.比赛;火柴 pl. matches
e.g. Tony enjoys watching football matches.
The little girl lit a match to keep warm.
4. look up
① 查找(宾语是需要查找的某些信息,如:word, phone number等)
e.g. You can look up the new words in the dictionary.
I don’t know the exact time. Can you look it up on the Internet
补充:look up是“动词+副词”结构,如果宾语是名词,可放在副词前后,如果宾语是人称代词,只能将代词放动词与副词之间。
② 抬头往上看
e.g. When he misses his grandfather, he always looks up the sky.
5. Today, we’re going to talk about good ways to learn English.
talk about 谈论;讨论
e.g. Let’s talk about how to celebrate the coming festival.
talk with/to sb. 同某人交谈
e.g. The teacher is talking to his students about the safety.
Lucy is talking with her parents.
6. Who has some advice
advice [un.] 意见;建议
a piece of advice 一条建议 some advice 一些建议
e.g. I’ll give you some advice on how to keep healthy.
补充:advise v. 建议
advise sb. (not) to do sth. 建议某人(不要)做某事
e.g. Our teacher advises us not to go out in the evening.
7. Let’s try to speak English as much as possible.
① try (not) to do sth. 尽力(不)做某事
e.g. He tries to work out the difficult math problem.
补充:try doing sth. 尝试做某事
e.g. He tried fixing the model plane.
② as+形容词/副词原级+as possible 尽可能…… =as+形容词/副词原级+as sb. can/could
e.g. I will come back as soon as possible.
I will come back as soon as I can/could.
8. Why not write down our mistakes in our notebook
① Why not do sth. 为什么不做某事呢?
是表示建议的句型,类似句型为:
Why don’t you do sth. 你们/我们为什么不……呢?
e.g. Why not watch TV programmes in English
= Why don’t you watch TV programmes in English
② write down 记下;写下
补充:write down是“动词+副词”结构,如果宾语是名词,可放在副词前后,如果宾语是人称代词,只能将代词放动词与副词之间。
9. And don’t forget to write down the correct answers next to the mistakes.
forget v. 忘记 后接名词、代词、不定式或动词ing形式作宾语
10. What else else【adv.】其他;另外
① 常用于what, who, where等疑问词之后。
e.g. What else would you like to eat
② 常用于something, anything, somebody, nobody等复合不定代词之后。
e.g. Do you have anything else to say
辨析:else和other
else 副词 位于被修饰词之后 修饰不定代词、疑问词 Who else do you want to meet
other 形容词 位于被修饰词之前 修饰名词 I want to buy some other things.
11. It’s a good idea to spell and pronounce new words aloud every day.
① It is+名词(短语)+to do sth. 做某事是……
e.g. It’s a good habit to go to bed early and get up early.
② aloud 【adv.】大声地;出声地
aloud强调出声,让人听得见,常用于read, cry, pronounce等动词之后。
e.g. The boy cried aloud for help.
12. How about listening to the radio
How about doing sth. 做某事怎么样
相当于What about doing sth. ,常用来提出建议、征求意见或询问情况。about是介词,其后可以接名词、代词或者动词ing。
e.g. I like apples. How/What about you
= How/What about going shopping with me this afternoon
13. I get to know a lot about the world through reading.
① get to know 了解;认识(逐渐了解;开始认识)
e.g. I got to know my best friend ten years ago.
② through 【prep.】通过;凭借(以某种方式、手段或者途径)
e.g. You can only achieve success through hard work.
14. I agree with you. agree【v.】同意;赞同
agree with 后接表示人或意见、看法的名词或代词 同意某人的看法、意见或所说的话 I don’t agree with you.
agree to 后接表示建议、计划、安排、决定之类的名词 同意计划或建议等 He agreed to our decision.
agree on 指双方通过协商而达成一致意见 取得一致意见,达成协议 We don’t agree on everything.

本节课几个学习英语的问题的导出,引导学生复习上节课学过的表示建议的句型以及如何针对对方提出的问题来为对方分忧解难,后面内容主要以分析文章中所包含的具体的知识点为主,内容比较丰富,也比较细化,在让学生学习到细致的知识点的同时,也要非常注意学生对知识点的吸收以及输出。
