Unit 3 Language in use
【教学目标】
1. 语言知识：正确拼读单词、熟记重点短语；在语言学习方面提出相对应的建议。
2. 语言技能：能听懂有关学习的建议；能够口头就学习方法提出建议；能够读懂介绍建
议的文章；能够表演包含建议的对话或就学习方面的建议做口头陈述。
3. 学习策略：积极运用所学英语进行表达和交流。
4. 情感态度：通过学习征求和提出建议的表达方式，了解西方人如何提建议，对比自己生活中的有关经历，掌握妥当的征求和提建议的方式。
5. 文化意识：通过学习提出建议，掌握与他人交流时语言的得体性，掌握如何照顾对方的情感，对他人的建议要表示感谢。
【教学重难点】
通过提建议训练学生的听、说、读的能力，并学会如何提出建议。
掌握提建议的几种表达方式和重点词汇。

新课导入：
Review: 表示建议的句型：
We should always speak English in class.
Let’s try to speak English as much as possible.
Why not write down our mistakes in our notebook
It’s a good idea to spell and pronounce new words aloud.

新课讲授：
1 Listen and check (√) the expressions of advice you hear.
2 Listen again and answer the questions.

3 Work in pairs. Look at the picture and say what Jack usually does.

4 Give Jack some advice.

5 Read Helen’s question and complete Diana’s answer with the correct form of the word and expressions in the box. You need to use some of the expressions more than once.
6 Work in pairs. Read the problems of Student A and Student B. Take turns to give advice. Use the expressions in the box to help you.

5. Don’t stop to check every word.
stop [v.] 停止
