教材分析 本课时在学习使用How are you 句式询问别人的近况并用I’m fine来回答的基础上，学习另外一种回答的方式：I’m very well.并继续使用如何用Let’s...句式来向别人提议一起做某事。教材的情景图中Sarah到Mike家里做客，并邀请Mike一起做木偶玩。展示了句式：How are you Very well, thanks. Let’s make a puppet! Great! 学生在真实的情景中感受语言使用的环境和方法，为其将所学知识内化为自己的语言提供可能。
学情分析 How are you是本课时的重点句式，但三年级的学生在说完整的英语句子方面是有一定困难的，对英语不熟悉、害怕说得不好，本节课Let’s play部分是一个句子接龙环节，学生在活动过程中，既可以练习到问答，也可以练习到答句，以帮助他们熟练地掌握本课的重点句式，但教师在教学过程中应随时根据学生表现进行调控，尽可能帮助每一个学生克服学习中遇到的各种障碍，帮助他们养成敢于开口读句子、说句子的习惯和形成意识。
