(一)、一般过去时
一般过去时表示在过去某个时间所发生的动作或所处的状态（与现在无关） 。常与yesterday, last week, in 1989, just now, a moment ago, the other day等过去具体时间状语连用。

1. 肯定句形式：主语+动词过去式+其他

不定代词：不指名代替任何特定名词或形容词的代词叫做不定代词。
用法注意：
1. some 和any +可数名/不可数名。
some 多用于肯定句，any多用于否定句、疑问句和条件从句 。有些问句中用some,不用any, 问话者希望得到对方肯定回答。
2. 由some, any, no, every 与 body, one, thing构成的复合不定代词作主语时，其谓语动词用三单。
3. 不定代词若有定语修饰，该定语要置于其后：如：something interesting

on vacation “在度假；在休假”，是“on+名词”结构，表示“在某种状态中”，如：on duty（值日），on sale （廉价出售）。其中vacation意为“假期”，与holiday同义。“on+某些名词” 表示“在某种状态中” on fire / on duty

在英语中，anything, something, nothing 和everything是用于指代事物的复合不定代词，与之相对应的复合不定代词 anyone, someone, no one 和everyone ( anybody, somebody, nobody 和 everybody) 用于指人
与形容词连时， 形容词必须放在复合不定代词之后，语法上称作“后置”。例如：

此句中 quite a few 是一个整体结构，表示“相当多”， （=many） 修饰可数名词，请不要与a few(少数几个) 混淆。比较下面例句中quite a few 和a few的区别。

虽然桌上只有几本书，但我的书柜里还有很多书。
a few 意为“一点儿”，后跟可数名词复数形式, =some；few表否定。 a little跟不可数，表示“一点”, little表否定。

anywhere意为“在任何地方”，地点副词，常用于一般疑问句或否定句中，代替somewhere。
