How to write an English diary
1. 格式:英文和中文日记的写法大致相同。一般是第一 行写
上日期、星期、天气状况。星期,天气状况写在右上角。
表示天气情况的词一般用形容词,如:fine, cold, rainy,
windy, cloudy, sunny, snowy, foggy 等。 正文部分另起一行。
2. 人称:日记要用第一人称写。

3. 时态:写日记的时间一般是在下午或晚上,有时也有在第二
天补记的。所记叙的事情通常发生在过去,所以常用一般过
去时态。但如果要记叙天气、描写景色、展望未来、议论某
事或对话引语等,可以使用一般现在时或一般将来时,以生
动再现当时的情景。
4. 日记的写作顺序:日记一般按照时间顺序或事情经过来写。
语言要清楚、自然,内容要连贯、完整。

5. 类型:日记可分为记事型、议论型、描写型以及抒情
型等类型。记事型日记,就是学生用所学英语词汇记
述当天自己生活中所发生的事情。议论型,就是对生
活中的某一事情或情况、现象发表自己的看法。描写
型就是对某人、某物的特征进行细致的描述。

Today I went to the Palace Museum. It was cool. Then I went to visit the
Great Wall. How great it is! I took many photos there. In the afternoon, I
went to Tian’anmen Square. The square is very large. Today is Chinese
Army Day. So there were many people there and it was very crowded. I
had great fun playing there! At last, I traveled around Beijing Hutong on
three-wheelers. The Chinese people are very friendly. I felt very happy
today, but I was really tired.

We would stay there for a week. I was happy to stay there.

1. Did you dislike anything
① dislike用作动词,后常接名词、代词或动词-ing形式。其
反义词是like,同义词是hate。
I dislike playing chess. 我不喜欢下象棋。
② dislike还可用作可数名词,意思是“不喜爱的事物”。反义
词是like。
Everyone has his likes and dislikes.
每个人都有其喜欢和不喜欢的事物。

2. My legs were so tired that I wanted to stop.
so ... that ... 如此......以至于......
He is so young that he can’t go to school.
他如此小以至于不能去上学。

拓展:(1) so ... that ... 的常用结构:
② so + 形容词+ a /an +可数名词单数 + that 从句
③ so many /few /much /little + 名词+ that 从句

(2) 在so +形容词/副词+ that结构中,如果结果状语从句是否定
形式,则可与too ... to... 和enough结构进行转换。

(3) so that表示“以便;为了”,引导目的状语从句。
He got up so early so that he could catch the early bus.
他起得如此早是为了能够赶上早班车。

keep的用法结构:
① keep doing sth. 继续/重复做某事
Though it was raining hard, they still kept working.
尽管下着大雨,他们仍然坚持工作。
② keep sb. /sth. doing sth. 让某人/某物一直做某事
Don’t keep the boy standing. 不要让那个男孩一直站着。
