1. Spell it, please.
“Spell it. ”意为“把它拼写一下。”这是一个祈使句,其特征是省略了主语 you,以动词原形开头,回答可直接拼写出单词,一律用大写字母表示,字母中间使用连字符连接。

—Spell it, please. 请把它拼写一下。

(1)How do you spell it 意为“你怎样拼写它 ”,是由 How 引导的特殊疑问句,回答时可以直接拼写出单词。
(2)Can you spell it 意为“你能拼写它吗 ”,是由情态动词 Can 引导的一般疑问句。其肯定回答常先用 Yes 回答后再拼写出单词。
