“How much is/are... ”是询问物品价格的句型,其答语通常为“It’s/They’re+价格”,也可直接说出价格。

—How much is the schoolbag 这个书包多少钱?
—It’s twelve dollars. 12美元。
—How much are these apples 这些苹果多少钱?
—They’re nine dollars. 9美元。

3. It’s seven dollars.
1) dollar是美国、加拿大等国的货币单位,复数形式为dollars,符号为$。
2) 表示价格时,可用“数词+dollar(s)”的形式,也可用“$+数词”的形式。
e.g. The tennis bat is 10 dollars.
这个网球拍10美元。
This skirt is $15. 这条短裙15美元。

拓展:dollars作主语时,看作单数。
e.g. Ten dollars is enough. 10美元足够了。
人民币的单位是元(yuan),没有复数形式。

short作“短的”讲时,其反义词是long(长的);
short作“矮的”讲时,其反义词是tall(高的)。
e.g. The dress is too long, and I want a short one.

My brother is tall but I am short.
