An unforgettable experience
Everyone has some experiences they can’t forget. For me, doing badly in an interview is an unforgettable experience. It took place about one year ago. In order to work as a volunteer in our city’s museum, I went for an interview.
I felt very nervous when they asked me why I wanted to be a volunteer. I made a lot of mistakes. The interview took about ten minutes, but it seemed like ages to me. When it was over, my T-shirt was wet.
The experience made me realize nervousness makes me feel stupid. From then on, I stopped being nervous during the interviews by fully preparing for them and breathing deeply to relax. Now I don’t feel nervous anymore when I speak in front of people.
