教材分析 本课时为支撑对话交流的词汇积累课时。学生会学习更多的动物名称，为他们能够顺利流畅地进行交流服务。Let’s learn部分，Zip在问远处动物园里的动物是什么，Zoom拿着望远镜边观察边回答动物的名称。下方的动物园里，展示了多种动物，学生会学习到四会词汇：zoo, bird, panda, tiger, elephant, monkey. 这五种动物是学生非常熟悉且特征明显的动物，可以在学习中让学生模仿动物的特征来让其他学生猜测动物名称进行练习。Let’s do部分让学生听指令做动作。这部分只有一个指令：Act like a... 让学生以动作来展示某一个动物。这样的活动特别符合学生的兴趣点，他们会非常积极地参与。这也有助于学生理解新学习到的动物单词。在教学中，可以让学生边重复指令边做动作，这样有助于学生将单词的音与义统一起来进行记忆， 以提高他们记忆效率。
学情分析 We love animals 这一单元围绕小动物展开对单词的认知，与学生的日常生活联系紧密。因为学生的年龄特点，对动物也都很偏爱，所以在本课中要运用多样化教学手段使学生轻松掌握重难点。在学习小动物名称的同时，教育孩子们要珍爱小动物，因为动物是人类最好的朋友。在鼓励性语言评价中树立学生的自信心，让学生有兴趣说英语，做游戏及积极参与合作。
