教材分析 Let’s learn部分依照惯例，仍然是重点词汇和重点句式的呈现、学习。本课中展示了一个学生非常喜欢的游戏——捉迷藏。图中Chen Jie蒙着眼睛靠着大树，在数着五个数字：one, two, three, four, five。图中出示的是阿拉伯数字，Sarah蹲在栏杆后边躲藏。而花式的栏杆上巧妙地嵌着五个数字单词。这个游戏是学生特别熟悉的，这样的场景他们一眼就能明白。所以数字的理解对于他们来说并不难，本课最重要的是让学生能够熟悉五个数字的拼写。Let’s chant以孩子们在跳绳这个一个场景和内容来展示，涉及到了动词：jump，及与其相关的短语jump up high， 句式It’s fun. 在韵句中会从一数到五，还会从五数到一，包括了顺序数和倒序数两项内容。学生在学习韵句的过程中，会对数字的顺序有更深入的了解。本课时学习数字时特别要注意，除了让学生熟悉数字的顺序之外，还需要特别注意学生对于单个数字的快速反应。
学情分析 本单元是三年级上册英语教本第六单元Happy birthday。本单元围绕数字编造关于birthday的话题编排教学内容，前面的课时主要学习了Sam's birthday来学习数字one to ten，数字对同学们来说还算是比较熟悉的英语单词，因此，本单元的教学较为轻松。本单元主要是通过生日聚会这一情景的创设把新旧知识融合，拓展对话练习，提高学生综合运用知识的能力，为逐步提升学生日常交际用语的灵活运用能力打下基础。
核心素养教学目标 1.语言知识目标：能听、说、认读数字1—5；能跟着节奏吟唱Let's chant部分的歌曲。2.思维能力目标：能用所学的数字在实际生活中表达物体的数量。3.学习能力目标：掌握数字1—5相应的英语表达及正确发音。4.文化品格目标：教育学生要认识到数字在生活中的重要性。
