Choose a scene and write down the words you hear.
Watch that scene again with pare your script to what is written on the screen. Correct your copy.
Read your script.
Watch that scene again and speak along with the actors.
Repeat above steps with other scenes from the film.

Tip #2: Choose and use your resources wisely
News articles
Read the article once for general understanding. Read silently.
Read the article again with a dictionary and note new vocabulary in a notebook. Write the words and expressions down along with definitions and an example from the article. For the pronunciation of a new word, use an online dictionary and listen to the audio sample.
Read the article aloud. If you’re using a website, see if there is an audio recording for you to listen to first.
Try to summarise the article with some of the new vocabulary. You can choose to do this in writing. You can also record an oral summary for yourself.

Talk with your partner about learning problems and suggestions.
Homework
Write a short passage about you partner’s problem in other subjects and your suggestions.
