Topic Unit 2 I think that mooncakes are delicious!PeriodⅡ　Section A(3a～3c)
Analysis of the Teaching Material 本节课是本单元的第二课时，是本单元的第一个阅读版块。语篇讲述了“嫦娥奔月”的故事。首先通过头脑风暴让学生尽可能多地说出节日专属文化词汇，围绕“中秋节”话题回忆相关词汇。然后进入阅读提取必要信息，读后加强练习，进一步巩固，从而进一步提高学生综合阅读能力。
Analysis of the Students 学生通过本单元第一课时的学习，对祖国传统节日信息有一定的知识储备，同时通过八年级阅读能力的培养，阅读能力和阅读技巧都有一定的提高。对于阅读提取信息有一个整体思路。
Analysis of Teaching Objectives Language ability 能读懂有关中华传统节日的文章；
Learningability 通过阅读文章能够懂得中华文化传承的寓意，灵活使用阅读技巧，培养阅读能力。能听懂谈论节日的对话；
Thinking quality 通过阅读文章了解中华传统节日的起源，思考中华传统节日的庆祝的寓意、传承中华文化、发扬传统文化；
Cultural awareness 通过阅读文章《Full Moon, Full Feelings》，了解中华传统节日的起源，认识到中英文化上的相似性和差异性；
Teaching Points 1.重点：完成相关的阅读任务，学习使用宾语从句、感叹句两种语言结构。2.难点：能够联系实际，运用这两种语言结构描述对节日的观点和看法。
